Detroit in 1934 was not just known as the center for the automotive industry but also as the City of Champions. In that year the Tigers, Redwings and Lions and Boxer Joe Louis were all named the champions in their respective sports. Against this celebratory foreground there lurked a sinister series of murders at the hands of a group known as The Black Legion.
