Event Details
Have you tried ma'amoul before? Ma’amoul is a delicious, traditional Middle Eastern pastry often filled with dates, nuts (like pistachios or walnuts), or figs. Ma'amoul carries a rich cultural significance and is a communal activity where family, relatives and neighbors spend the day making dozens of ma’amoul trays, usually for special occasions like Eid, Easter, or weddings.
Because the dough needs to rest, you'll begin this program with dough already made and just needing your hands to add the date/spice mix and mold it into a traditional ma'amoul shape. Each participant will go home with a tray of cookies ready to bake or freeze. Note that this product contains gluten and dairy. Registration is required.
